About us
The practice was established in Loanhead in 1982 by Iain C.R. Butt. The formation of a new partnership with Chris Sawyer and Rory Shearer and the addition of the Gorebridge Surgery (formerly Arthurs Veterinary Group) in 2008 allowed us to expand our range of services across Midlothian.
ICR Butt & Partners is an RCVS Accredited General Practice and a Registered Nurse Training Practice.
Loanhead Surgery
Our Loanhead Surgery offers a full range of medical, surgical and dental facilities including ultrasound and endoscopy.
The surgery was extended in 2007 to provide an additional operating theatre, a new X-ray suite and a separate cat ward.
Gorebridge Surgery
Our Gorebridge surgery also offers full medical, surgical and dental facilities including X-ray and ultrasound.
In addition "Pets Place" stocks a wide range of of pet foods and
accessories.
Staff
Our clinical staff comprises eight vets in total supported by a team of qualified veterinary nurses, trainee veterinary nurses and additional nursing assistants.
Our administrative team of receptionists and support staff is led by our Practice Manager, who is based at the Loanhead Surgery.
